About FMS

The Federation of Music Services (FMS) represents and supports 99% of all Music Services across England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Isles. The FMS is at the heart of instrumental and vocal music education and strives to ensure that schools, parents and Government understand the value and life-changing potential of music for all children.

We work to provide advice, guidance and advocacy on behalf of Music Services and aim to make sure that they are equipped to provide quality standards, progression for all children and maintain a strong and unique relationship with schools. We provide national and regional support network and opportunities for our Membership and ensure that all have access to up-to-date information and resources.
